Sapa, a former French hill resort and home to some of Vietnam's most colorful ethnic groups in the far northwestern corner of Vietnam. Sapa is one of the most wonderful places in Asia and a magical combination of landscapes, ethnic cultures and bracing mountain air. There are excellent areas for hiking through lush mountain valleys to the remote villages of diffirent minorities, including the Black H'mong, Red Dzao, Dzay, Tay...
 

The first night

20:00 - 20:30pm Mini bus pick up at your hotel then transfer to railway station or free transfer by yourself to Hanoi Railway Station - Gate B - Tran Quy Cap road for a night train SP3 at 21:55 to Lao Cai province.

Day 1: Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai (Meals: B - L - D)

06:00am Arrive in Lao Cai station, pick up by mini bus to Sapa. Check in hotel. After having breakfast and shower, we will start the trip to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H’Mong tribe.

Visit H’mong hydro electric built by French and enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and very beautiful scenery along the way (app. 4 hours trekking - 8 km). Then back to hotel for lunch in our beautiful mountain view restaurannt. The rest of the  afternoon is free for to explore the Sapa on your own. Dinner in hotel and enjoy the night in mountain town.

Day 2: Sapa - Coc Ly Market on Tuesday only (Meals: B - L - D)

After breakfast, you will check out and get ready for the trip. Coc Ly market is 54km north west of Lao Cai city. The journey takes about 2,5 hours through rural areas. Coc Ly is a small remote village known for its market. It is located on Chay river and inhabited by mainly Flower H’mong ethnic minority people. The market is gathered only on Juesday. Here you have a special chance to meet several ethnic minorities, such as Flower H’mong, Black Dzao, Phu La, Nung and Tay. At this market you will find variety of items for sale, clothes, fruits, food, vegetables and handicrafts. You will also have an opportunity to see many animal which are brought by the locals to sell. After visiting the market, you will head down to Chay river which cuts through mountainous limestone countryside for a relaxing boat trip. Have a picnic lunch on the boat while enjoying the magnificent sights along the riverbank. We will visit some famous caves such as Bat cave, Tien cave… and many picturesque waterfalls. After 1 hour cruise, the beautiful village of the Tay minority people called Trung Do will emerge. Here we will experience the lifestyle of the local people before taking one the last boat trip where you will meet up with our minibus to return Lao Cai. Have dinner at local restaurant before take the night train SP4 at 21:15 back to Hanoi. You can stay in Sapa longer if you want.

05:00 Arrive in Hanoi station in the early morning. End of our tour.
